I've been here a while, but I'm just now starting to get more "involved" as I manage to bring career and life responsibilities back into the direction I choose. Life has a way of closing the doors we imagine and narrowing the path we wander, doesn't it? Anyway, I'm a singer,a songwriter, a musician; Love to draw, write, paint, obsessed with digital art, etc etc etc., but as far as any visual art is concerned I've never had a real concrete "style". Perhaps, I'll find that here?


So, I get this question a lot in notes etc. so let me dispel any theories behind my nick name for the few who may care to read this...
In short my Uncle always just called me Kid, " Hey Kid, don't run with those..." etc.
At age 6 I started learning guitar and that nickname evolved into Kid Rock and just seemed to stick
Later, some guy named Paul with a "similar" ID began selling millions of Rap-Rock records so I figured his claim outweighed my own. Thus dropped back to Kidd for my time Dj'ing local stations in college...
Kidd Rockett came out of thin air I can't even remember who coined it, but the relevance lies in my friends and enemies alike who describe me as a "Space Cadet", a "dreamer" just "drifting somewhere out in space". Sometimes it's a compliment others an insult, always a pretty fair way to describe me, despite the times I've tried to change it. There's a full moon out tonight... I think I'll go now, stare at it a couple of hours, and think about everything else I should be doing. This is me... Today I'm sorry, tomorrow I won't be. It was nice to meet you either way!!!
